Chapter 10: Sara

Sara looked over towards Anna who was nicely tucked at the other end of the couch with Blair under her arm. Her hand rested gently on Charlie’s little behind as he nestled between Blair and Ellie. Sara felt the soft breathing of Charlie’s body grazing her own hand as she held onto Ellie.

She felt a quiet resting in her heart as she turned to watch the screen. She had barely been paying attention to the movie given that she’d been playing out her earlier conversation with Anna in her mind.

Sara had been moved by Anna as she spoke about her ex and had truly owned what she wanted for her future. She was such a mixture of strength and sweetness, striking a balance of showing Sara her vulnerable side but also making room for Sara to express her own feelings. They had held space for each other in a way that felt intimate and sexy all at the same time.

Before they had been interrupted she wasn’t sure if Anna was trying to tell her something or potentially ask for something. Sara hoped it was the latter, given that she had wanted to kiss Anna there and then. She felt that Anna had wanted the same.

Feeling her heart move in her chest, she reminded herself that the girls would be going to bed soon.

She could tell that Anna liked her and was beginning to trust her. And she did not take that lightly! She wanted Anna to feel safe with her. She also loved how much she wanted to touch and taste Anna and was ready to fully embrace it.

The more she got to know Anna, the more Sara liked her. Emotionally and physically. Now she was ready to explore the connection on a physical level and she was becoming impatient.

Even thinking about kissing Anna was beginning to turn her on as she felt a rush rise between her legs. Adjusting herself on the couch, she tried to refocus and keep it PG.

It had been a while since she had made love to anyone but it seemed that it had been even longer for Anna.

Even though Anna looked more like a tomboy in her physicality, Sara felt that there was a softer, delicate side to her. And it was Sara’s absolute favourite part. Not to mention, the part that she wanted to open up even further.

God she wanted to jump Anna’s bones.

Taking a deep breath, she reminded herself she needed to take it nice and slow.

She could do naughty things nice and slow.

In fact, she preferred it.

Okay, so that non-sexy thinking had lasted about 3 seconds.

Because it was a Friday night, Sara had regrettably agreed to let the girls stay up for a double feature. As the second movie came to a conclusion, Sara turned to see Anna asleep on the couch. Realizing now that Anna’s hours were not like her own or the girls, Anna had not lasted.

Blair got up slowly so as to not wake Anna, while Ellie was a bit groggy herself.
